One of our professors, Dr. Stewart, lives with multiple sclerosis (MS) and strives to raise awareness of what it is like living with MS and ways to help those who suffer from the condition. On April 21, 2013 the National MS Society held an MS Walk at Legoland and Dr. Stewart, several former CS students and ACM officers came out in support of this cause and their faculty adviser. Patrick Salami, Patrick van Zoest (and his daughter Jasmine), Joanna Nelson, Jovette Estrellado, James Avecilla, David Fernandes and Katrina Youngblood all participated in the walk. Dr. Stewart was appreciative of their support and had a great day at Legoland.
