Requirements for Admission to the Graduate Program in Computer Science

The SDSU graduate bulletin contains the official description (PDF) of the requirements for admission. The major requirements for admission to the gradaute program are given below.

Degree

Applicant must have an acceptable baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution.

Scores

Type US Applicant International Applicant
Grade Point Average (GPA) 2.85 3.00
GRE (Take all 3 sections) 950 (Verbal & Quantitative) 950 (Verbal & Quantitative)
TOEFL Not Required 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based), or 80 (Internet based)
