Grant to attend Women in Computing Conference
Microsoft has awarded the Bioinformatics and Medical Informatics Graduate Program with a grant to send a few female students to the Grace Hopper Women in Computing conference in Orlando, Florida (Oct 17-20th). Students from related disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, CS, Math/statistics) can apply this year. If you are interested contact Dr. Valafar at faramarz@sciences.sdsu.edu
