Abstract:
The Entomology Department of San Diego Natural History Museum (SDNHM) hosts a wide collection of insect species from all over San Diego County and Baja California. This project provides a web solution for the Entomology Department that makes the information about the different species in their collection, available online for any internet user.

This solution includes a database and an interface for an administrator to manage the database. The solution generates interactive species web pages that can be viewed by any internet user. These species web pages provide information about the species and collected specimens of that species. Images and location information of collected specimens are also provided. The locality information is interactively displayed with the help of Google maps.
