Abstract:
The Language Acquisition Resource Center (LARC), an SDSU-housed program sponsored by the San Diego State University Research Foundation, is one of fifteen Language Resource Centers in USA. The mission of LARC is to develop and support the teaching and learning of foreign languages in the United States though research, technology, and publications.

LARC has initiated the SharePoint project to better serve its mission efficiently using Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007. The problem of the current computing environment is un-user friendly application behaviors. LARC uses various softwares to share documents, settle meeting schedules, record research and business progress and create web pages. SharePoint has the capability to get all of this together. The goal of the SharePoint project is to produce a SharePoint web parts for the transaction from the present LARC?s computer systems to SharePoint platform smoothly.
