Abstract:
This thesis provides teachers a visual tool to show Native Americans regions in the United States of America and to explore each region. Today new teaching methods are evolving; with the advent in technology, information can be stored, understood and learned in a visual form compared to only textual form. This thesis uses a recent technology to help teachers in teaching with visual content which is interesting and exciting for young students.

GIS (Geographic Information Science) is a blend of geography and computer science which helps in producing interactive maps which have a database in the backend. This database opens a vast potential of storing valuable information in these applications which can not only be used to store information in the application but also change the way the application looks and feels.

Native Americans are an integral part of American history and I chose to use powerful tools of GIS to visualize Native American regions in United States of America through a map and help teachers to teach Native American history to students.
